Updates: I will be flying to Georgia!

Dear friends of J.D. Kim Ministries,

I pray that the season of Lent may help you reflect on and appreciate the love of our Lord Jesus who was incarnated in the flesh to carry out his redemptive mission which was to save us from the result of our sins and to give us new life in our triune God. I have four announcements:

First, my new book, From Walking to Wheeling: How God Reconstructed One Man’s Dreams, will be published in April. It is about God’s redemptive story that unfolded in my life as my brokenness led me to pursue God and his dream. I will send you more details about the book soon.

Second, I will be flying to Georgia on 3/23 and be back on 3/27. I will be preaching at three different churches in Korean and English: on Friday at Atlanta Bethel Church, on Sunday at Bethany Presbyterian Church and Korean Community Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. Please pray that God may strengthen me to preach his words and share his love that restores our brokenness.

Third, I started teaching online theology courses at Shiloh International Theological Seminary in Ethiopia. Churches in Africa are in need of theology professors and pastors as many false teachers and prophets are already messing with the gospel planted in Africa. The institution provides quality theological education for an affordable price to pastors living in Africa, and volunteers like me serve the institution and its students through teaching theology courses and mentoring them. Please pray that God may train the pastors and leaders in Africa and use them to strengthen his church and people.

Last, I invite you to the event of “Disability and the Gospel” with Steve Stirling, President and CEO of MAP International. A survivor of polio, he experiences daily the intersection of human disability and the redemptive power of the gospel. After his presentation, I will join him in answering questions. Thank you for your support and prayer.
