Mission Trip to Maryland!

Hello friends,

I pray that you are doing well. I would like to share with you about my mission trip to Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church in Maryland last week.

My friend Rich dropped my family off at the airport on 4/20. Southwest did an excellent job assisting me with taking the flight, transferring me to the seat in the aircraft by an aisle chair, and handling my electric wheelchair without any damages. In the airplane, I was able to do the weight shift by leaning my body forward, so that I had no issue with my skin. Pastor Lee who is the director of Four Friends, a disability ministry at Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church, picked us up and took a great care of us. I had a wonderful fellowship with Four Friends family on 4/21 and preached three times on 4/22, and the congregation appreciated my sermon. The title of my sermon was “The Mission of God’s Invited Community.” Most importantly, God was glorified. Afterward, we had a dinner fellowship with the elders of the church. Truly, we received so much love and warm hospitality from Bethel community. On 4/23, my friend Inho picked us up and we got home safely.

Having symptoms of bronchitis before the flight to Maryland, when I got home, I was completely exhausted and had to deal with sore throat and bronchitis. I feel much better now. Well, this is the short version of my mission trip.

Here is the link to my sermon if you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9sUt2BbfPM&ab_channel=BethelChurchMD Don’t forget to “Like” the video.

I am profoundly grateful for God and your prayer and support.

Blessings,
